I got a lot completed to the point of dry fitting the covering boards and the first layer of plywood sub sheathing. Before I can permanently fasten the foredeck covering board down, I’ll need to complete the curved portion of covering board that transition between the side decks and the upper foredeck.

The “toothpicks” glued in and the graving pieces clamped and glued.
The beams cleaned. The “toothpicks” are cut and sanded off level with the beams as are the graving pieces.
Port side with covering board and first layer of plywood subdeck temporarily fastened down. You can see the curved portion of the covering board isn’t installed and really, they haven’t been made yet.
Starboard side and again everything is just dry fitted. The toe rail ends are in place but need a bit of adjustment.

This is the new arrangement for aft “king plank” including the mooring bit and it’s blocking, flag standard and the aft navigation light. The new toe rail and old chocks fitted. Again everything is just dry fitted to the finished subdeck deck  and will be finally installed when I get back.
